Matt stands as a talented singer, guitarist and songwriter in the Buffalo folk scene. He is equally acclaimed for his Americana stylings as well as his Irish pub songs.
Matt has had a lifelong love of singing, but his instrumental journey began later than most, starting guitar lessons at 19. After experimenting with several genres, Matt discovered he had the soul of an old folkie. Matt started, and continues to play in sessions and sing-arounds in the Buffalo area to this day. His professional career began in 2010 with the trio Rush The Growler.
Today, Matt is continuing his creative pursuits, writing new material for his next recording project, and performing across the western New York area.
